Nike accepts Greenpeace challenge to commit to a toxic-free future
I don’t particularly endorse Nike over any other sports brand, but eco-friendliness is definitely something to keep in mind when shopping for any product. If you can find a used product at your local thrift store, that’s the most earth friendly way to go. If you have to buy new, do try to think of the impact of your purchase: how was it manufactured? How long can you use it for? Is it recyclable when you are done with it?
